Acrylic Acid

1) Description:
Acrylic acid is a colorless liquid with a pungent odor, corrosive, and strong acidity. Soluble in water, ethanol and ether, but also soluble in benzene, acetone, chloroform, etc. The melting point is 13.5°C, the boiling point is 140.9°C, and the density (20/4°C) is 1.0611g/cm3. The chemical nature is lively. It is easy to polymerize in air and can be reduced to propionic acid by hydrogenation. Addition with hydrogen chloride generates 2-chloropropionic acid.

3) Application:

1. Acrylic acid and its esters can be used as polymer monomers;

2. It can be used as a raw material for adhesives, coatings, resins, etc.;

3. Resins synthesized by acrylic acid can be used in pharmaceutical, leather, textile, paper, chemical fiber, rubber, building materials, plastics, packaging materials, water treatment, oil exploration and other industries.

4) Package:

200L plastic drum, 210kg/drum, 16.8MT & 80drums in 20FCL. 22MT in ISO TANK.
